Fraxel Dual has two different wavelengths for laser skin resurfacing. Recovery After Fraxel Dual

Recovery after treatment with Fraxel Dual can take up to three weeks, with the most involved healing occurring within the first week. During the first week, you can expect redness, tightness, and swelling in the treated area. By day three, you should be noticing that the outer layer of treated skin is sloughing off and the fresh, healthy skin will start to become visible. By the end of the first week, the peeling should be complete. The new skin below is quite sensitive, will be pinkish, and may take another week or two to settle completely. Always refrain from touching your skin during peeling, or picking off shedding skin, as this could lead to scars.
